You and your dogs
- Please ensure that your dogs are adequately vaccinated to use a public place.
- If your dog is showing any signs of illness do not use the secure field and be respectful of other pets and their owners.
Bookings
- BOOKINGS CANNOT BE CANCELLED AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Bookings can be re-scheduled up to 24 hours in advance using the Reshedule Booking link on the Confirmation Email.
- All bookings must be paid for in advance – either by Paypal or card at the time of booking.
Using the field
- Sweetwell Fields operates a CCTV system for user’s safety and security.
- We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicles brought on site.
- It is your responsibility to pick up all of your dog’s waste and dispose of it in the bin provided or take it home.
- We would ask customers to pick up any poo accidentally left by previous users so that others will do the same for poo you are unable to locate! This will ensure that the field is as pleasant to use as possible for everyone.
- Both the Secure Parking Area and the field itself is accessed through the large metal gate. Please use the ENTRY CODE YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH 1 HOUR BEFORE YOUR BOOKING TIME.
- If using the Secure Parking Area, drive into the encolsure and shut the gate behind you, before letting your dog(s) out of your vehicle.
- If using the General Car Park please ensure that your dog is on a lead before letting it out of the car and walking to the gate.
- Please ensure that you do not arrive too early for your booking and vacate the secure area promptly leaving it secure at the end of your booking time.
- Please padlock the gate behind you as you leave the secure area.
- There is ample space for off road parking, please do not park on the road and block the gate way.
XL Bullies & Sweetwell Fields
If you have an XL Bully you can still visit Sweetwell Fields but please make sure that you follow the Field Hire Restrictions placed on us by our insurance company below. As long as you comply with these restrictions, please go ahead and book a walk on the web site, no need to fill out any other forms.
Once you have booked your first walk, if you could send us a copy of the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED) Certificate to Sweetwell.fields@gmail.com for our records that would be greatly appreciated. If you are a regular field user and have already sent us a copy of the IED Certificate, there is no need to send us a copy for each booking.
XL Bully Field Hire Restrictions
- The dog must be registered with the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED) and a copy of the certificate must be obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
- A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog must be provided to us in the event of a claim.
- The dog handler ratio must be 1:1 with their handler at all times
- The dog must be Neutered – in line with Government Rules
- The dog must be Micro Chipped
- The field is private property, securely fenced and has no public access passing through but it must be locked when in use so that the dog cannot escape
- The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field
- You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field
- The dog must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field
- If your household has more than 1 dog, you can come to the field together, but the banned breed dog must have its own handler. The other member of the same household needs to be present to supervise the other dogs.
- If there is more than 1 banned breed in your household, they can come together but each dog must have its own handler.
We can only hire to you if you follow the steps above so when you are registered with the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED) and have a copy of the public liability insurance certificate for your dog, please send us a copy of the IED Certificate to Sweetwell.fields@gmail.com for our records.

At your own risk: Wooded area, uneven ground & long grass
You agree that:
- Your use of the secure field is at your own risk, and agree not to hold ‘Sweetwell Fields Secure Dog Walking’ area, its owners or staff responsible for any injury to you, your family/friends or your dogs, arising from your use of the secure field.
- Sweetwell Fields is a large outdoor space containing areas of uneven ground which could be concealed under long grass or other vegetation.
- Sweetwell Fields has overhanging branches from trees around the edges and in the woodland area which may fall or have fallen.
- Sweetwell Fields contains a stream with steep sides in some areas; please be aware of the safety of your party with this in mind.
- Sweetwell Fields could contain other hazards consistent with the countryside.
- You will not let anyone else into the secure fenced area, other than any friends or family members you have brought with you to enjoy walking your dogs.
- By bringing friends or family, or sending somebody in place of you, you agree that you take full responsibility for their safety and for ensuring that they abide by these terms and conditions at all times whilst using the field.
Children
- You are welcome to bring your children to the field, but they must be supervised at all times.
- You are responsible for making sure that they do not injure themselves or break any of the terms and conditions.
- Please be aware that the secure area has not been made child safe and certain elements may pose an additional hazard to children (non-child proof dog poo bins for example).
The Fence
- We will inspect the fence regularly and carry out any maintenance work required.
- However holes or other damage to the fence may occur from time to time for a number of reasons, if you become aware of any issue with the state of the fence, please let us know immediately so that we can make other users aware and so that we can fix it as soon as possible.
- We do not take responsibility for any dog escaping the field through a defect in the fence; regardless of whether we have notified you in advance or not.
Buildings and specific obstacles
- You agree not to enter any buildings or other parts of the farm, including the adjacent field where farm animals such as cows and sheep may be grazing.
- Please note there will be times when livestock will pass the secure area into the adjacent field; if this occurs during your visit please stay in your car or the secure area until the animals have entered the field.
- Please ensure your dogs are in your car or on their leads before accessing or leaving the secure fenced off area.
Updates
- By making a booking, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions on the website at the time of making your booking.
- We may need to vary these terms and conditions from time to time, please ensure you review them before each booking.
Privacy Statement
- Sweetwell Fields Secure Dog Walking area is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.
- We hold your personal information in a safe and secure environment to provide you with a service and for internal record keeping.
- Your name is needed to track payments and your email address is needed to send you the gate access code, and updates on information about the field such as closures due to maintenance.
- By processing your booking and indicating that you would like to receive this information from us, you consent to us using your personal information as described above.
Your Data
- Your personal information will not be shared with any third party without your explicit consent.
